The MMA 200 welding rectifier is used for manual DC welding of structural steels

It also enables TIG welding with arc ignition by rubbing (after using an additional handle).

It is an inverter device, manufactured from the most technologically advanced components made in the MOSFET technology .

The welder is equipped with automatic HOT START functions to facilitate ignition and ANTI STICK to protect against damage to the device.

The device also has an optional VRD function that lowers the voltage in no-load condition and minimizes the risk of electric shock.

WORK CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption.

LEVEL OF SECURITY

The IP determines the degree to which the device is resistant to solid and water contamination entering the interior. IP21S means that the device is suitable for operation in confined spaces and not suitable for use in rain and snow.

HOT START FUNCTION

The HOT START function is commonly known as hot start. It works when the arc is struck, causing the welding current to temporarily increase above the value set by the welder. HOT START is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when starting the arc.

ANTI STICK FUNCTION

The ANTI STICK function is a short-circuit protection that reduces the welding current in case the electrode sticks to the workpiece. This makes it easier to detach and protects the device against damage.

VRD FUNCTION

Module reducing the idle voltage of the device's secondary circuit. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power off and on when the resistance between the electrode tips - welded element is measured during welding.

TIG DC LIFT WELDING

Welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield using a handle with a gas valve in the handle.

The arc is struck by rubbing, similar to the MMA ignition method.

The use of this method enables welding of all types of steel, i.e. carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steel, as well as copper alloys, e.g. bronze or brass.
